Coventry Diocesan Board of Education's (DBE's) annual programme of Continuing Professional Develoment (CPD) is well established and offers courses that have made, and are still making, a difference in our Diocesan schools. Colleagues have found that the quality of the training that they have recieved on these courses has made a significant impact on teaching and learning, on leadership in their school and on their own personal and spiritual development.
These courses are open to all those involved in the Diocesan family of Church schools; some are also appropriate for Community schools. Each event clearly indicates the specific groups of people for whom the course is suitable: clergy, heads, SLTs, teachers, TAs, governers and other church members who might work voluntarily in your school.
This year's programme has taken into account the success and popularity of courses previously offered and introduces some new ones. As before, there is particular emphasis on developing the distinctive yet inclusive nature of education in our Church schools.
