News from the National Director of SIAMS
Dr Margaret James, National Director of SIAMS has written to Headteachers about a national SIAMS survey. Schools and Trusts with church schools are invited to take part. The letter contains the link to the survey which is now open and closes on Friday 3 May. Contact joanne.evans@coventrydbe.org if you would like a copy of the letter.
Question for RE Leads from Jen Jenkins
Jen Jenkins would value the feedback from RE Leads on the following question. In the new local RE agreed syllabus there is an increase in coverage of global Christianity, which translates into an increased subject knowledge for teachers. Bearing this in mind, how can we best support you in this? Contact joanne.evans@coventrydbe.org for a link to the survey.
iSingPOP Classroom Worship for Next Term…
The new episodes for the summer term classroom worhsip will be uploaded to the same Vimeo showcase link that the schools and churches had last term. The first of these videos should be there next week. Guidance notes and prayer activity templates will also be sent out to schools to have ahead of the start of term.
